City Labs is a non- profit organization providing access to technology that will lead all cultures, classes, and ages through the 21st century. Cultivating analytical thought using the latest technical resources for education, small business development, and entertainment media. While improving students' interest in pursuing careers within Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) we teach skill sets of Addressing Problems, Building Goals, Applying Solutions, and Managing Projects.

City Labs is the community resource that fosters programs to increase participation in STEM Competitions locally and nationally. The technology center will empower the community by providing technology classes and technical support. Community members will have the opportunity to create online information centers about their neighborhoods, cultures or families.

Yancy Wingard Sr continues to change the way science/technology products and services are utilized and provided to the community. He has over 21 years of network operations and superior customer service skills, which has created an extensive network with several major companies. Mr. Wingard also has 15 years of hands-on Network engineering experience ranging from phone systems to enhanced corporate networking. He is an extremely analytical person that makes problem-solving seem seamless in daily operations. Yancy's high business acumen allows him to serve both as a business and technical product expert. Yancy continues to lead cross-functional teams by defining business requirements to develop products from MVP to Value drivers to Go to market.
•  3 times in his career he has built Elite technical teams that reorganized the customer process to cultivate a better customer experience.

Mr. Wingard's demand for proficient client-vendor relationships and end-user support has helped bridge the gap in the science/technology industry. He has made sure that his company offers you superior service while assisting the community to learn more about STEM. Mr. Wingard has many accolades and certifications due to his various achievements from companies he has worked for as well as throughout the community. His comprehensive educational background has made him into the dynamic leader he is today.

Yancy Wingard is an undergraduate student at Michigan State University, Studying Economic Geography with a minor in Quantitative Data Analytics. For the past 3 years, Yancy has maintained a rotational internship with PPG Industries, a Fortune 200 coatings company headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, where has worked in numerous supply chain positions. Before entering college, Yancy Co-led his high school robotics team to their first overall competition win in school history. He continued to work with his high school team as a mentor following graduation, as well as other teams in the Lansing, MI area. Yancy is also a member of several service-based organizations, including Alpha Phi Omega Community Service Fraternity and MSU Rotaract Club, where he has logged over 100 hours in community service.

Darrien Staton is an Art Director at Gelia, an intergraded marketing, and advertising agency. He brings concepts to life for websites, ad campaigns, email marketing, social media, and more. After spending the last few years working in UX/UI for a Fortune 500 company and agencies, Darrien truly understands how science, technology, and design all come together to create compelling interactive platforms. He holds an M.A. in Interactive Media from Elon University and a B.A. in Visual Arts (Media) Design from North Carolina A&T State University.
